Bayshore HealthCare
At Bayshore, one of our core values is leadership everywhere. We empower staff to be leaders and make a difference in the lives of our clients every visit. To ensure our staff can be at their best, we strive to create an environment conducive for them to thrive. A big part of that is ensuring our staff have an appropriate work-life balance.
We know that many of our health care providers also provide unpaid care to their parents and other loved ones outside of work. That’s why we offer our staff flexible schedules so they can attend to unanticipated situations. In addition, as part of our ongoing commitment to safety and wellbeing, we provide all Bayshore staff and their families with confidential 24/7 access to valuable mental health and wellbeing resources through our Employee Assistance Program.
We believe the future of work is about supporting people in their own unique circumstances, which includes those who have family caregiving responsibilities. This shift has been further highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic where people’s caregiving stories have been brought to the forefront. More people than ever before are working from home and taking on additional caregiving responsibilities.
Bayshore will continue to be a leader in responding to the needs of staff by identifying novel and effective ways to help them balance their caregiving responsibilities at work and in their personal lives.
